In collaboration with Jan Wächter this concept for the yearbook 2009/2010 of the Theater Basel was created within the context of the typography class at the Academy of Art and Design UAS Northwestern Switzerland.
In the regular publication as it is annually provided by the theater the reader is given a promise of the future plays and enactments. The present concept on the contrary confronts this promise with the reader's concrete experiences and memories he has gained as visitor and spectator at the Theater Basel. Visually separated in two layers a look ahead is faced with a look back at the things that happened during the previous season. So all the previews appear embedded in a context of actual events and developments.
